Dental Care for Pets

dots

Poor dental health is about a lot more than bad breath: left untreated, it can lead to reddened gums, drooling, discomfort while chewing, and loose or missing teeth. A multitude of health complications can follow, such as urinary tract infections, stress on the heart, and pericardial infection.

An oral exam is part of your pet’s annual wellness visit, and we can perform dental cleanings as needed, as well as check for other complications that dental issues may indicate. For patients with more advanced periodontal disease, we are able to perform dental cleanings with dental x-rays and tooth extractions as necessary.
